Esto fue hace casi dos meses (OZÚ, COMO PASA EL TIEMPO!!!)
Como veis, aproveché al máximo los 3 días de sol que tuvimos.

Kayaking in Vancouver Island

Holaaa!
Como siempre, voy con un par de semanas de retraso, pero no me da pa más.

Hice un curso de Asistente de Guía de kayak de mar en Vancouver Island. Fue un curso GENIAL, y aprendí muchísimo. Pero sobre todo conocí gente increible.

Es un curso super intenso de 9 días. Los últimos 5 los pasamos acampados en una playa a la que llegamos remando con los kayaks. La niebla era muy densa, y por la mañana no veíamos ni la orilla.

Nuestra profe-guía,Toni, nos hizo gorritos de lana a toooodos :)

El último día hice surf con un kayak por primera vez en mi vida...Bueno, no sé si llegué a hacer surf, porque cada vez que pillaba una ola sufría el "efecto lavadora" y acababa revolcada por la playa. Eso sí, limpieza absoluta del los canales sinusiticos, es decir, me quedé sin moquillos para un mes. ME ENCANTÓ!!! OIGA!!!

En el próximo post os cuento mi viajecito a Seattle. Pero esa será otra historia.

My kayaking course!!

I was 9 days in Vancouver Island taking my Assistang Guide course. It was an amazing experience, and enjoyed every second of it.

We camped for 4 days on a beautiful beach on Vargas Island. We had a lot of fog, so I couldn´t really see much, but that only means I will have to go back and see that beautiful part of the world again.

Our last day we went to a different beach and did Kayak Surf. IT WAS SOOOOOO MUCH FUN!!!! I didn´t really "surf" anything because every time I tried to catch a wave, ended up rolling in the deep: the washing-machine effect. I can´t wait to do it again :)

Gil Island, Part 2

Ya hace 2 semanas que volví de Gil Island y dejé atrás las ballenas. Las echo de menos, así que me he puesto con las fotos.

Los últimos 10 días he estado en el "ala oeste" de Vancouver Island haciendo un curso de Guía de Kayak de Mar. Ha sido genial, pero esto lo explicaré en el próximo post, que voy con retraso en las actualizaciones.

Holaaaaa!!!

no he tenido tiempo de comunicarme por aqui, y mañana me voy a hacer un curso de guía de kayak de mar en mitad de la nada, OTRA VEZ. Así que he decidido poner un par de fotitos antes de irme a dormir para que no se os olvide mi cara.
Es lo que hay.

A la vuelta de esta segunda aventura, me toca contaros toooodo lo que he hecho en estos 2 meses (a parte de echaros de menos, claro)

Hello!!!

I know I haven´t been communicating a lot (at all...) since I am in Canada, but the timings and internet access have not been on my side.

After only 5 days in Vancouver, tomorrow I am heading out for a kayaking course in the middle of nowhere...again. I am going to get my Sea Kayaking Guide certificate. Let´s see how that works out.
