[Ca_04] Round 02

Se me termina la fase de "voy a usar el jet-lag como excusa para vaguear". Ahora empieza la acción.

Después de 1 semanita de oKupa, ha llegado el momento de emigrar hacia el Norte, que aquí el tiempo es demasiado bueno: solete, calorcito, brisita marina...
Dentro de unas horas me subo en el autobús que nos llevará a Prince Rupert en tan sólo 24hs.
Luego cogeremos un ferry hasta Gil Island, y ahí nos vendrán a recoger para llevarnos a la base de operaciones.
En estas ocasiones es cuando me pregunto "¿por qué no pruebo lo de trabajar en una oficina al lado de casa???...". Al menos soy una ceporra, y duermo bien en los vehículos motorizados.

Vereis que hablo en plural, y es que por suerte no me hago el viajecito sola. Otra chica (Megan) que viene al proyecto sale también de Vancouver, así que ya no tendré que sufrir el dolor de trasero en silencio.

Si me sacan una foto con el PEAZO MOCHILÓN que me llevo, será lo próximo que vereis en este blog. OZÚ, OPÁ!

Last few hours in Vancouver. Now heading North, to Prince Rupert.

I am trying to get my mind ready for the 24hs trip on the bus. 

Once in Prince RUpert we will catch a ferry to Gil Island, where someone is gonna pick us up to take us to the "operation centre".

Luckly, I won´t have to suffer it all alone. There is another girl (Megan) comming to the project today, so we can share de pain...

CANADA, HERE I GO!!!

La primera parte del viaje:

VANCOUVER-PRINCE RUPERT
nada más y nada menos que 1500km en autobús, que equivalen a 24 horitas con el trasero incrustado en el asiento...CASI NÁ!

Y un dato: la superficie de Canada es casi 20 veces España!!! no se andan con chiquitas estos guiris.

 Cada vez que escucho esta canción no puedo evitar pensar en todo lo que se está viviendo ahora mismo en este nuestro "primer mundo". A lo mejor es que no somos tan inteligentes como nos creemos, digo yo. Si no, que alguien me lo explique.

Bueno, bueno. He de deciros que ya tengo en mi poder el ansiado pasaporte con la Visa para ir a Nueva Zelanda estampada en su interior. OLE! Y como esto puede no parecer sufieciente para justificar un nuevo Post en el blog, pues voy a aprovechar para presentaros a mi amigo (Ojalá!!) Jack, Jack Johnson.
Muy, muy recomendable. Música muy sencillita con guitarra y algo de percusión de fondo. A veces más instrumentos por ahí. Muy buenas letras y muy buen rollo.
Este Norteamericano surferito convertido a cantante, se merece un BRAVO!!! Escuchadlo. Entrad en su página web y Recurrid a "San Emule" para bajaros algunos de sus discos (todos buenísimos) Brushfire fairytales, On & On, In between dreams.....
